About Us:
The Rising Circus is a vibrant circus school dedicated to creating a supportive space for students to develop their physical and creative potential through the Circus Arts. We specialize in aerial arts and other circus disciplines for all levels. We prioritize progressions, clean technique, building sequences to music, and flexibility & strength conditioning in our classes.

Position Summary:
We are currently seeking an Aerial Silk Instructor to lead classes for adult students ranging from intermediate to advanced levels in a recreational class setting. Ideal candidate will bring their passion for aerial arts, a strong teaching background, and a commitment to creating a safe, fun, and friendly environment.
Responsibilities:

Teach aerial silk classes for adult students, from intermediate through advanced levels

Plan and lead progressive, engaging, and safe classes

Provide individualized feedback and modifications as needed

Ensure a safe training environment and proper equipment setup

Represent The Rising Circus values and contribute to our positive, welcoming community

Ideal Candidate would have:

Proven experience teaching aerial silk to adults
-
Strong understanding of safety practices and injury prevention
-
Comfortable working with a wide range of abilities and body types
-
Basic rigging knoweldge
-
Professional, reliable, and team-oriented

Do you love to learn, create, and inspire?
The Rising is looking for part-time Circus Arts Instructors in various disciplines. Candidates should have intermediate to advanced ability in their chosen areas of circus/aerial/sports training. If needed, training in The Rising's Curriculum will be provided.

acro-balance and acro-yoga

juggling/manipulation

We have 3 different areas in our warehouse which are suitable for classes/workshops

PAY: competitive pay, dependent on experience

*All coaches receive FREE select open training times and discount on classes ( some exclusions apply). Performance opportunities may be available.
