The Rising Circus is a vibrant circus school dedicated to creating a supportive space for students to develop their physical and creative potential through the Circus Arts. Position Summary:
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Aerial Hoop Instructor to lead classes for adult students ranging from novice to advanced levels. You’ll bring your passion for aerial arts, a strong teaching background, and a commitment to creating a safe, fun, and empowering environment.
Responsibilities:

Teach aerial hoop (lyra) classes for adult students, from beginner through advanced levels

Plan and lead progressive, engaging, and safe classes

Provide individualized feedback and modifications as needed

Ensure a safe training environment and proper equipment setup

Represent The Rising Circus values and contribute to our positive, welcoming community
Requirements:

Proven experience teaching aerial hoop to adults at all levels

Strong understanding of safety practices and injury prevention

Comfortable working with a wide range of abilities and body types

Must be available Monday evenings

Professional, reliable, and team-oriented

Do you love to learn, create, and inspire?
The Rising is looking for part-time Circus Arts Instructors in various disciplines. Candidates should have intermediate to advanced ability in their chosen areas of circus/aerial/sports training. If needed, training in The Rising's Curriculum will be provided.

Disciplines include but are not limited to:

corde lisse ( rope )

straps

static or dance trapeze

tumbling

acro-balance and acro-yoga

contortion

juggling/manipulation

hand to hand balancing

pilates

strength and conditioning

flexibility

We have 3 different areas in our warehouse which are suitable for classes/workshops

PAY: competitive pay, dependent on experience

*All coaches receive FREE select open training times and discount on classes ( some exclusions apply). Performance opportunities may be available.
