Strength Conditioning
Thursdays 6:45-7:30pm

45-minute conditioning class designed to improve your performance in the air through focused floor-based training.
Using a variety of tools—including resistance bands, excercise balls, light weights, and bodyweight exercises—develop strength, stability, and endurance.
The exercises will help support joint health, improve movement patterns, and reduce the risk of injury.
All levels welcome. No experience necessary.

Partner & Group Acro
Mondays 7:45-8:45pm

Discover the excitement of circus teamwork! Learn how to safely balance, lift, toss, swing, and catch one another while building strength, trust, communication, and coordination.
Explore the roles of base and flyer, learning progressive skills such as balancing on feet, hands, shoulders, back, and legs. Classes focus on proper technique, spotting, and working together to create dynamic partner and group acrobatic movements.
Spotting belts and other training equipment may be used as students progress through more advanced skills.
Prerequisites: Participants should be in overall good health and comfortable working closely with others.

Act Creation
(Halloween)
Mondays 7:45pm or Tuesdays 7:45pm

No class Oct 12 ( Monday class)
Students create their own act from choosing their apparatus & music, to creating choreography & designing their costume. Instructor gives tools to use in the creation process and provides feedback & guidance.
To ensure every performer has adequate rehearsal time, students must have attended at least 6 Act Creation classes over the summer before registering for this session. This provides each performer with 10 or more rehearsals before the show.
Mature subject matter can be explored. Audience is 19+.

INCLUDES: Dress Rehearsal Thursday Oct 15 at 7:45pm.
The session ends with 2 performances in front of a live 19+ audience at The Rising's studio on Saturday Oct 17

Flexibility
Thursdays 7:45-8:45pm ( no class Oct 15)

Build strength, mobility, and flexibility in a fun and supportive environment! Through stretching and movement, students will improve both active and passive flexibility, helping them move with greater confidence while supporting injury prevention.
Whether you're naturally bendy or just getting started, this class will meet you where you are and help you become stronger, more flexible, and more confident—one stretch at a time!
Please note: Flexibility improves through consistency and regular practice. We'll give you the tools and exercises to continue your progress at home.

AERIAL CLASSES

Aerial ABC's
Thursdays 7:45-8:45pm

This fun & welcoming course is your first step into aerial circus training!
Students will learn the foundations of four aerial apparatus: aerial hammock, silks, hoop (lyra), and trapeze. Along the way you'll build strength, confidence, body awareness, and aerial technique while learning foundational skills such as Mermaid, Man in the Moon, Catcher's Lock, Russian Climb, and many more.
Our experienced coaches guide students through progressive, level-appropriate instruction with safety as the top priority, so you can challenge yourself in a supportive environment and celebrate every milestone.
This course is required for all beginner students before moving into our Novice and higher-level aerial classes.
Prerequisites: None. Participants should be in overall good health.

Hammock Advanced
Tuesdays 6:30-7:30pm
Sept 8-Dec 8

Our highest level hammock class where you will learn skills and build sequences that require a higher level of strength, flexibility, and endurance.
Prerequisites: Intermediate Hammock, same side knee hooks, flexed arm hang 45 sec, inversions with ease, experience with variety of drops, ability to work with a spin

Silk Novice
Thursdays 7:45-8:45pm
Sept 17-Dec 10

This class will help you solidify your skills from Aerial ABC's and expand your skill library. Work on your foot locks, gaining height in your climbs, inversions, and basic sequences., footlocks in the air, hip keys, & simple drops when you're ready. Stretchy silk will be used.
Prerequisites: Aerial ABC's or equivalent

Trapeze Intermediate
Saturdays 9:45-10:45am
Develop strength, endurance, technique, and confidence while exploring intermediate mounts, balances, beats, rolls, hangs, and dynamic sequences both on and below the bar & in the ropes. Classes emphasize clean technique, efficient movement, and safe progressions, helping students link skills together into longer, flowing combinations.
Prerequisites: Trapeze Novice, ability to invert from the bar and in the ropes, single knee hang, single arm hang, comfortable working with spin

Hammock Novice
Mondays 6:30-7:30pm
Sept 14-Dec 7 ( no class Oct 12)
Aerial Hammock ( sometimes called Aerial Sling) is an apparatus similar to aerial silk but is rigged to create a loop in the bottom giving you a shelf to sit or stand on. This course will solidify your foundational knowledge of the apparatus and build your strength to give you the skills to attempt higher level skills with inversions, a drop, or more complicated wraps.
Prerequisites: Aerial ABC's or equivalent

Hoop Novice
Mondays 7:45-8:45pm
Sept 14-Dec 7 ( no class Oct 12)

This class will cover all you need to know from mounts and dismounts, hangs, inverting, poses, and building your spin tolerance. Work below, inside and on top of the hoop as you finesse your transitions.

Silk Intermediate

For students who have mastered the fundamentals and are ready to build longer sequences, refine technique, and explore more dynamic skills in the air.
Expand your aerial vocabulary through intermediate climbs, wraps, drops, transitions, and combos while continuing to develop strength, endurance, artistry, and confidence. Classes emphasize clean technique, efficient movement, and progressions, helping students connect skills into fluid aerial sequences.
Prerequisites: Invert in the air, foot locks in the air, X-Back, Russian Hip Key, same-side knee hook in air, Classic climb to top

Rope Novice
Fridays 6:15-7:15pm

Aerial Rope is single cord vertical apparatus. Join this class to learn basics climbs, locks, and hangs. Develop grip strength, endurance, body awareness, and control. If you enjoy the challenge of aerial silks but are looking for a new apparatus that emphasizes strength, precision, and dynamic movement, corde aerial rope is a fantastic next step.
Prerequisites: aerial abc's or equivalent

Hammock Intermediate
Wednesdays 6:30-7:30pm
Sept 16-Dec 9 ( no class Nov 11)

Intermediate skills, drops, transitions, with an emphasis on sequencing, drops, and working with a spin.
Prerequisites: 1+ years training, pullovers without kicking or pushing off of poles, inversions from backpack & from standing in hammock, ability to work with spin

Hoop Intermediate & Advanced

Intermediate static & dynamic skills, transitions, with a strong emphasis on sequencing and working with a spin.
Prerequisites: single knee hangs 20 sec, must be able to invert from floor and from sitting/standing in hoop, flexed arm hang, skin the cats, single arm hang, comfortable working with spin, pull over

Silk Advanced

This class is designed for experienced aerialists who are ready to refine advanced technique, master dynamic skills, and develop strength, endurance, and artistry at a high level.
Students will work on advanced climbs, wraps, drops, releases, transitions, and longer sequences while focusing on precision, efficiency, creativity, and performance quality.
Prerequisites: thigh hitch, hip key, S-lock, Monkey drop, Salto drop, clean inversions

Rope Intermediate
Saturdays 11am-12pm
Sept 19-Dec 12 ( no class Oct 17)

Students will refine their climbs, inversions, wraps & drops, hangs, and descents while learning intermediate-level skills that develop greater strength, endurance, precision, and control. Classes focus on efficient technique, clean movement, and safe progressions, helping students move confidently through the unique challenges of a single rope.
