ABOUT THE RISING

The Rising - Victoria Centre for Circus Arts is a contemporary circus school located in the vibrant Westshore (Langford) of Vancouver Island.  

Our aim is to foster and grow the circus arts within the community through quality classes with safe and knowledgable instruction, first rate entertainment productions, and providing a welcoming environment where you consider us your circus hub.  

 The Rising was founded by Sarah Scheunhage , a professional aerialist and acrobat, who grew up in Victoria as a competitive gymnast and in 2001 embarked on her professional performing career which has taken her all over the globe. 

The Rising offers aerial and acrobatic circus classes for ages 4 - adult, recreational to pre-professional level. We also host team building events, a variety of workshops throughout the year and if you have something to celebrate like a birthday or bachelorette, we can host your circus party.
