Come join us in our unique, physically active and creative camps for kids.

Children will work on aerial and acrobatic skills while improving their strength, flexibility, coordination, and balance all while making new friends and circus memories!  Focus is on CIRCUS FUN!

Camp Activities Include:

•  2 aerial lessons each day - silk, hoop, hammock, or trapeze

• ground disciplines every day: rola bola, plate spinning, acrobatics, or juggling

• mini circus show creation for full day camps only.  Performed for families on last day of camp at 2:45pm

• games, circus fort building, parachute, slack line

• circus-inspired arts and crafts

• Tuesday visit to Play Zone / Mini Golf at City Centre Park.  No extra fee!

• 1 outdoor play activity at Sarah Beckett Memorial Playground   *weather permitting

• Circus movie projection in Circus room on the last day.  Bring your stuffies!

AGES:

• 6 -8 and 9-11.  Each camp week will be divided into a younger and older group accordingly

• camper must be 6 by Sept 30, 2023

Prerequisites: We are unable to provide special one-on-one instruction during camps.  For the safety and enjoyment of our campers and coaches, all participants must be able to use the bathroom by themselves and follow directions, stay with the group, participate in all activities, and follow the school's safety rules.  If your child is unable to fully participate in camp or follow the circus school's rules their enrolment may be removed and an alternative may be offered if one is available.

COST:  $325 + tax for full day 5 day camp

            $260 + tax for 4 day camp

            $175 + tax for 1/2 day afternoon camp

• July 4-7 Tues - Fri Full Day 9:30am-3:00pm

• July 10-14 Mon - Fri Half Day Afternoon 12:30pm-3:00pm

• July 17-21 Mon - Fri Full Day 9:30am-3:00pm

• July 24-28 Mon - Fri Full Day 9:30am-3:00pm

• July 31-Aug 4 Mon - Fri Full Day 9:30am-3:00pm

• Aug 8-11 Tues-Fri Full Day 9:30am-3:00pm

• Aug 21-25 Mon-Fri Full Day 9:30am-3:00pm

** HALF DAY CAMP REQUESTS: we may be able to accommodate your child for a morning or afternoon half day camp depending on enrolment numbers.  Please email Sarah at director@therisingcircus.com to make your request.  Include name, age of camper, desired week and if you want morning 9:30am-12:00pm or afternoon 12:30-3:00pm

Have double the fun in our new TEEN DOUBLES CIRCUS CAMP where duo skills are the focus.

Learn to support each other's weight and create photo-worthy shapes on various aerial apparatus.

Camp Activities Include:

•  warm up, flexibility & strength training

• introduction to LV 1 & 2 partnering skills on our various aerial apparatus

• build a sequence with your partner and perform it on the last day for family/friends

AGES:

• 12-17

DATES: Aug 14-18 Monday-Friday

TIME:  1:00-3:00pm

Prerequisites: aerial experience preferred but not required.  You do NOT need to sign up with a partner.

Must have ability to hold your own body weight in the air and invert on an apparatus eg. hang from knees on a bar

COST:  $175 + tax

• What To Wear & Bring:  water bottle.  Form fitting athletic clothing.  Stomachs must be fully covered.  No half tops. Hair tied back. No jewelry.  No zippers or metal fasteners. Bare feet.
